Mortar plasticizer(MP) is the compound of surfactant and sodium rosin acid,has good foamability, dispersing and water-reducing ability. Its addition can not only improve workability,flexibility, water impermeability, cohesion,compressive strength and freeze-thaw resistance of fresh mortar, but also reduce surface tension of fresh mortar,water consumption of mortar and precipitation threshold,to make the durability of the construction better. For brickwork it can take the place of 50~100% lime, for plasterwork it can take the place of 30~50% lime, for cement mortar it can save 6~12% cement, reduce the cost and labor.MP is a green, environment-protecting product. It is nontoxic, harmless and radiationless and it will not cause steel to corrode. The mortar mixed with MP doesnt dehisce, knob or crack. So it is widely used for brickwork, plasterwork and floor flating.
